The IBO World Championship returned to scenic Snowshoe, WV this year and was greeted with a challenging course, great views, and good weather. The first morning brought thick fog and speculation of delays but soon gave way to clear skies and warm weather as the fog burned off. Competitors all started at the top of the ski resort’s mountain and made their way down as they progressed through the course ending their day with a quick ride up the ski lift. Targets were well placed with tricky light conditions and great settings, such as an alligator poised to slide into a nearby stream, making for a unique course that offered challenges for everyone.
Members of Team Shrewd placed well in each pro division with Joby Shaw, Tony Tazza, and Erin McGladdery all capturing a spot in the top three of their respective classes.
